Many cheerleading groups compete for a major goal in mind, to showcase their talents at a national championship. After placing third in the New England Regionals and becoming state champions in 2025, The Youth Cheer U12 team for the Holliston Panthers have the chance to do exactly that, as they head to Florida on December 2nd to compete in the AYC Nationals.
Through December 2nd the 7th, this local team will be competing at American Youth Cheer’s National Championships in Kissimmee, Florida. It’s the second time in program history that the Panthers Cheerleading Squad reached nationals, and the team’s first out-of-state competition.
Despite their qualification, the group has to save up to $25,000 in traveling costs. As a result, Panthers cheerleaders have been going door-to-door to Holliston businesses, sharing their story to raise funds. Additionally, the youth team is holding a fundraiser to save up for their expensive travel.

This fundraiser is hosted by the Purely You Aesthetic Boutique in Holliston, which continues tomorrow from 10:30 AM to 2 PM. Donators can receive a 90-minute relaxation retreat voucher at the Boutique, hair tinsels for children, and other prizes. More information regarding the fundraiser can be found here.
Members of the Holliston Youth Cheerleading group are incredibly proud of their hard work this year, according to their coaching staff. The team looks forward to showcasing their talents for the national championship.
Information regarding the National Championship schedule can be found on the American Youth Football website.
