FRANKLIN/WEYMOUTH – On January 8th, the Franklin and Weymouth Food Pantries announced the return of their annual 2026 SOUPer Bowl on Facebook. The friendly competition challenges each pantry to see who can collect the most donated soup cans to support Massachusetts families in need.
Now through February 8, local residents are encouraged to donate non-expired cans of soup to either pantry. Donations will help ensure Massachusetts families have access to nutritious meals throughout the winter season.

Those interested in learning more about the history of the SOUPer Bowl and the impact of the fundraiser can hear an exclusive interview with Catherine Troutman, the communications manager for the Franklin Food Pantry.
Additional information about the event, including options to donate online through each pantry’s Amazon Wishlist, can be found on the official websites of the Franklin Food Pantry and the Weymouth Food Pantry.
