FRANKLIN – The Franklin Performing Arts Company is inviting audiences to step inside the story with an immersive production of Into the Woods, running March 14–22 at THE BLACK BOX.

Directed by FPAC Artistic Director Raye Lynn Mercer, the production will feature a talented cast led by Liam Fennecken and Miracle Myles, alongside performers from New York City, Boston, and the local community. In this immersive staging, audience members will be seated throughout the theater as actors travel along pathways around them, bringing the beloved fairy-tale world to life.

Written by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, Into the Woods weaves together classic fairy tales including Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and the story of a baker and his wife on a quest to break a witch’s curse. While the show begins with familiar wishes and happy endings, the second act explores the unexpected consequences that follow.

Matinee performances will also offer a special “Act 1 Only” option for kids, with supervised activities next door at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts during the darker second act.

Tickets and information are available at FPAConline.com or by calling 508-528-3370.
