MASSACHUSETTS – Bundles of Brave is asking the community for help bringing some Halloween happiness to children spending the holiday in local hospitals.

The nonprofit organization is hoping to provide 1,000 goodie bags to hospitalized children this Halloween, with each “Bundle of Brave” costing just $5 to provide. The bags are filled with small toys, crayons, a coloring book, a stuffed animal and other trinkets designed to bring comfort and a little fun to children during their hospital stays.

A $5 donation can provide a bundle for one child, while $20 can help brighten the day for four children.

Bundles of Brave plans to distribute the Halloween gifts to pediatric patients at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, the Jimmy Fund, Massachusetts General Hospital, Mass Eye and Ear, Hasbro Children’s Hospital and other hospitals throughout the region.

Bundles of Brave is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free gifts, care packages and essential items to pediatric patients and their families during hospitalizations, with the goal of reducing stress and providing comfort during difficult times.
