MEDWAY – Residents, families, and staff at SALMON at Medway recently gathered for a memorable afternoon filled with music, laughter, and meaningful connection during a special performance by Broadway actor Andrew Purdy and fellow performer Alley.
Purdy, who is currently appearing on Broadway in The Book of Mormon, returned to perform for a community with deep personal significance to him. A Franklin native and grandson of Whitney Place resident Mr. Purdy, he dedicated the performance to the memory of his late grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Golding and Mrs. Purdy.
Joined by Alley, a performer and fitness trainer with roots in the Greater Boston arts community, the duo brought warmth, humor, and energy to the Great Room throughout the afternoon.
The event was part of “Generations of a Nation,” SALMON’s ongoing tribute to the families, stories, and relationships that help shape the community. Organizers say the performance perfectly reflected the Spirit of Community that serves as the foundation of life at SALMON at Medway.
For many in attendance, the afternoon was about more than entertainment — it was a celebration of family, legacy, music, and the connections that bring generations together.
