MILFORD – A fun, family-friendly tradition is returning to Milford this spring.
The Knights of Columbus Valencia Council #80 is hosting a Free Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Luisa Lake on Dilla Street.
The event is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 15, with registration from 8:00 to 9:00 AM and fishing running from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Prizes will be awarded for the heaviest fish caught in each age group.
Participants are asked to bring their own fishing equipment and bait, and parents or guardians are encouraged to assist younger children.
There will also be free coffee, hot chocolate, and doughnuts available, making it a great morning for families to enjoy the outdoors together.
