It’s that time of year again — Mendon’s beloved Town‑Wide Yard Sale is almost here!
Every spring, residents and local businesses come together for a day of treasure hunting that draws visitors from as far as Plymouth, Sturbridge, Warwick, and Worcester. With around 50 yard sales across town, it’s one of Mendon’s most anticipated traditions.
The day begins at the Senior Center, where you can pick up the official Yard Sale Directory ($3)— your guide to every sale, complete with descriptions of what you’ll find at each stop. The Senior Center also hosts its own sale, making it the perfect starting point.
Local businesses play a big role in making this event possible by advertising in the directory. This fundraiser is the largest of the year for the Friends of Mendon Elders, supporting the programs that keep our seniors active, connected, and engaged — programs not funded by the town, including entertainment, history lectures, cooking classes, and more.
It’s a can’t‑miss community event — and a great opportunity to showcase your business.
