Event Overview:
Citizens for Milford is hosting its Tenth Annual Milford Beautification Day, an opportunity for residents, organizations, and businesses to work together to clean and beautify the community. Volunteers will help pick up trash and improve public spaces around town.
Who Can Participate?
- Individuals and families (younger children must be accompanied by an adult)
- Community groups, churches, and businesses
- Students needing service hours
Beautification Day Chairperson Nancy Wojick encourages participation:
“I hope that many people, young and old, join us to clean up the streets of Milford on April 26. It is a great way to meet others from the community who take pride in our town.”
What to Expect?
- Volunteers will receive supplies, instructions, and assignments upon arrival.
- Community members can report areas in need of cleanup by emailing [email protected] or messaging @CitizensforMilford on Facebook before April 24 at 5:00 p.m.
Volunteer Appreciation Lunch
To thank all volunteers, a free lunch will be provided:
- Milford Lions Club will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs on-site.
- Rail Trail Flatbread Company will serve samples of New City Microcreamery ice cream.
