The Asa Waters Mansion and Millbury Historical Society exclusively invite you to step into the past on Friday, March 20, 2026, to Meet The Waters Family. A captivating evening that will explore the lives, legacy, and lingering mysteries surrounding the Waters Family, doors will open at 6:00PM at Asa Waters Mansion, located at 123 Elm Street, Millbury, MA.
Uncover the stories behind the Waters Family in an evening where history meets mystery. This special event will explore the whispered lore to fascinating truths, that will delve into their day-to-day lives’, controversies, world travels, stolen armory, and curiosities that still spark conversation today! Enjoy a feature presentation by local historian, Keith Downer at 7:00pm, titled “Fact or Lore?” and exploration of truths and myths woven into the Waters family story. Guests will also enjoy light refreshments hosted by the Friends of Asa Waters Mansion, and have the opportunity to explore local treasurers in the newly remodeled Historical Society.
“This event invites the community to connect with local history in a way that feel immersive and meaningful,” said Traci Parath, Executive Director, Asa Waters Mansion. “We hope our guests leave not only informed, but inspired to continue discovering the stories that shape Millbury, and the Asa Waters Mansion.”
