4th Annual Sensory‑Friendly Community Event
-The 4th Annual Sensory‑Friendly Community Event, hosted by Picnic at the Park Douglas, a local nonprofit dedicated to inclusive community programming, is a welcoming, inclusive celebration designed for children, teens, and adults of all abilities. This year’s event will be held August 15, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM, at our new location: Soldier’s Field in Douglas, MA.
-Thanks to the generosity of our amazing sponsors, this event is completely free to attend, ensuring that every family can participate without barriers.
-Because this event has grown so much, we’ve expanded to a larger space to better support families, vendors, and community partners.
-The day will feature a wide variety of sensory‑considerate activities, entertainment, and community resources — all created to offer a joyful, accessible experience where every individual feels seen, welcomed, and included.
