Spring is blooming in Franklin, and so is the excitement! The 3rd Annual Ladybug Trail Spring Walk is set for Friday, April 26, 2025, with a rain date of April 27. Hosted by the Franklin Downtown Partnership, this family-friendly event invites residents and visitors to explore downtown Franklin while discovering delightful surprises along the way.

🌼 Explore, Shop & Celebrate Spring

Walkers will enjoy a day full of treats, discounts, giveaways, and ladybug-themed fun. Over 15 local retailers will participate, offering:

  • Ladybug-themed cupcakes & food samples
  • Discounts on products & services
  • Special meal deals
  • Photo opportunities

Maps for the Ladybug Trail can be picked up at the Franklin Historical Museum, Franklin Public Library, and participating businesses. The trail map guides visitors to various fiberglass ladybug sculptures hidden throughout downtown.

🐞 Discover Franklin’s Ladybug Trail

The Ladybug Cultural & Historical Trail is a unique outdoor experience located in the heart of Franklin’s Cultural District. The trail features 2-foot-wide fiberglass ladybug sculptures placed among 25+ historical and cultural sites across downtown Franklin.

Popular public stops along the walk include:

  • Dean College
  • Franklin Public Library
  • Franklin Historical Museum

Please note: The ladybug normally at 157 Cottage Street will return in May when the new Children’s Museum of Franklin opens its doors.

Be sure to visit the colorful open-air art gallery beside Birchwood Bakery. This transformed alleyway showcases vibrant murals by local artists—a perfect stop for photos!
