WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Row for Westborough returns Sunday, October 18, bringing student athletes, adult rowing crews and families together for a community event that is closing in on last year’s fundraising total.
The event will take place at 50 East Main Street in Westborough, with student athletes scheduled to row beginning at 10 a.m. Adult crews will take to the rowing machines at 11:30 a.m.
A free kids combine will also be offered from 10 a.m. to noon, giving younger participants an opportunity to get involved in the day’s activities.
Organizers have raised $25,275 so far, putting the fundraiser just $500 short of surpassing last year’s total.
With Sunday’s event approaching, the community has an opportunity to help push fundraising past last year’s mark while supporting the Row for Westborough effort.
Community members and families are encouraged to come out Sunday to cheer on the participants and take part in the activities.
