HOPKINTON – The Friends of Whitehall are holding their fall lake and trail cleanup this Saturday, October 17th, from 9 AM to noon.
Volunteers should meet at the boat landing parking lot at Whitehall State Park on Wood Street before being assigned sections of trails and shoreline to clean. Gloves, trash bags, tools, bug spray and water will be provided. Organizers recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants to protect against mosquitoes. The cleanup is being held with approval from the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
