1943 - 2026
After graduating from high school, Kathleen earned her bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin. She spent many happy years with her “Wisconsin family” before returning to Millis to help care for her beloved mother. She had lived in Medway for the past 30 years.
Kathleen found her calling as an educator, teaching Women’s Studies while living in Wisconsin and later working as an educator at Medfield State Hospital. Her faith was also an important part of her life. She attended church daily and enjoyed gathering with her rosary group. Kathleen was a voracious reader, loved playing Scrabble on the computer, and was a lifelong Boston sports fan with a special fondness for the Green Bay Packers. She was also incredibly generous, beginning her Christmas shopping as early as July and cherishing time with family and friends during the holidays.
Kathleen is survived by her brother, William Keough of East Dennis, along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Keough, and sister, Barbara Souza, as well as her sisters-in-law, Carol Keough and Maureen Keough, and brother-in-law Al Souza.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 13th, from 4–7 PM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, located at 3 Barber Street in Medway. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 14th at 10 AM at the St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis.
