Born in Lowell, Sheila was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy E. (Page) Bradley. She was a 1958 graduate of Lowell High School. Sheila worked at a cookie factory and as a waitress at Russo’s Italian Restaurant in Lowell before becoming a personal banker at Berkshire County Savings Bank in Pittsfield. She later enjoyed a long and successful career as a real estate agent with Dallamora Realty in Milford, which later became RE/MAX Realty and Hammond Realty, before retiring.
Sheila remained active in her community through volunteering at Milford Regional Hospital. She enjoyed shopping trips, going out to dinner, and sharing a nice glass of wine, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and best friends.
Sheila is survived by her children, Lisa M. Szczypinski of Colorado, David S. Szczypinski and his wife, Stacey, of Milford, and John P. Szczypinski and his longtime partner, Maureen Lapp, of Hopedale; her granddaughters, Tesha Szczypinski and her fiancé, Brian Hetherman, of Grafton, and Madeline Szczypinski of Grafton; her sisters, Janice Bradley of Georgia and Judy Bradley of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Mitchell.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. A private graveside committal service will be held at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, New Hampshire, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Memorial Funeral Home in Milford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
