The Milford Youth Center is inviting local students to learn the basics of fishing through a special program led by longtime volunteer Dr. Bob Gilmore.
The fishing program will take place on October 5, 7, and 14 at 4 p.m. at Fino Field. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about different types of bait, fishing techniques, and the fundamentals of catch-and-release fishing.
Dr. Gilmore, who has volunteered with the Milford Youth Center for many years, will lead the sessions and share his knowledge and experience with young anglers.
The program offers students a chance to spend time outdoors while learning practical fishing skills in a hands-on setting.
The Milford Youth Center encourages interested students to take part in the upcoming sessions at Fino Field.
