Anna grew up in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. She later worked as a bookkeeper in the Milford area. She was a member of the St. Gabriel’s and Sacred Heart Women’s Groups and enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, following all of the Boston sports teams, and reading.
She is survived by her children, Mary McHugh of Hudson and Michael McHugh of Boston; her son Larry McHugh of Framingham and his family; her brother, John Doorly; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Doorly, nephew Brian LaRosa, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Arthur and Virginia Richards.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 3rd, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, located at 42 Congress Street in Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon at Sacred Heart Church, located at 187 Hopedale Street in Hopedale. Burial will follow at Hopedale Village Cemetery, with a luncheon afterward at Willowbrook in Mendon.
