HOPKINTON, Mass. — Tennis players ages 5 and up of all skill levels can take their game to the next level this fall and winter through private and small-group lessons with high-performance tennis coach Paul Borenstein.
Borenstein brings extensive playing and coaching experience to his instruction. According to his coaching profile, he began playing competitively as a teenager and later continued playing while attending Northeastern University. His coaching philosophy emphasizes modern fundamentals, including technique, footwork, body mechanics, conditioning and the mental aspects of the game.
The lessons are designed to provide a more personalized experience than traditional large-group clinics. Players can work on the specific areas of their game that need attention while progressing at a comfortable pace.
The program welcomes beginners as well as experienced players, making it an option for young children just learning the sport, recreational players looking to improve and more advanced athletes seeking additional development.
Local tennis programming is also available through Hopkinton Parks & Recreation, which lists fall tennis opportunities for children ages 5-12.
With small-group instruction, personalized coaching and reasonable rates, Borenstein’s fall and winter lessons offer local players an opportunity to continue developing their skills beyond the summer season.
