MILFORD – A GoFundMe fundraiser has been started for Calif Anderson, a 36-year-old Milford resident, after a crash left him without his vehicle and unable to continue working as a DoorDash driver.

Anderson had worked as a DoorDash driver for two years before his car was struck at a traffic light by another driver traveling approximately 50 miles per hour. His vehicle was totaled in the crash, which occurred two weeks before Christmas, leaving him without the primary source of income he used to help support his household.

Anderson also lives with and helps care for his elderly grandmother. According to the fundraiser, he suffered a serious back injury in the collision and required more than six months of physical therapy, along with chiropractic care four to five times a week.

The loss of income during his recovery is estimated at more than $20,000, creating significant financial strain for Anderson and his grandmother.

A GoFundMe campaign has been created to help Anderson and his grandmother with their financial needs as he continues recovering. Community members who would like to support the fundraiser can donate or share the campaign.
