1946 - 2026
Born in Fall River on August 22nd, 1946, Gail was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Dunn) Mitchell. She was raised in Berkley and had lived in Franklin for the past 58 years.
Gail devoted many years to building a home and raising her children with love and dedication. Later in life, she worked as a children’s daycare provider before becoming a technician at Thermo Jarrell Ash.
In addition to her husband, Joseph, Gail is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Taylor and her husband, Todd, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, and Diane Maciejewski and her husband, Craig, of North Attleboro; her sister, Marcia Mitchell of Mattapoisett; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Connor, Sara, and Adam.
Gail will be remembered for her big heart, genuine kindness, and her daily walks, which were a special part of her routine. Above all, she cherished the life she built with Joseph. Together, they enjoyed visiting New Hampshire and Cape Cod, creating many cherished memories along the way.
Gail’s services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Salmon Hospice, located at 37 Birch Street in Milford.
Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin.
