Jean C. (Paradis) Tatro, 69, of Hopedale
1957 - 2026

Born in Framingham, Jean was the daughter of the late Alverie G. Paradis and Rita L. (Heaton) Paradis. She attended Hopkinton public schools and graduated from Hopkinton High School, Class of 1975.

Jean worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at various medical facilities, including the St. Elizabeth Sisters of Charity in Wellesley Hills. She loved being around people and took great pride in caring for her patients.

Outside of work, Jean enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in her yard. She was also an accomplished cook who loved preparing meals for her family and sharing food with the people she loved.

In addition to her husband of 29 years, Jean is survived by her stepdaughter, Christina Lavin and her husband, Patrick, of New Hampshire; her four step-grandchildren, Jack, Bridget, Meghan, and Lydia; and her six siblings, Leona Montville and her husband, Harold, of Bellingham; Helene Maty and her husband, Frank, of Franklin; George Paradis and his wife, Janet, of Oakham; William Paradis and his wife, Rita, of Hudson, New Hampshire; Andrew Paradis, Jean’s twin brother, and his wife, Lisa, of Hudson; and Joseph Paradis and his wife, Laurie, of Oakham. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Jean was the stepmother of the late Gregory Tatro and the sister of the late Michael Paradis and the late Philip Paradis.

In accordance with Jean’s wishes, cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, on a date and time to be announced.
