FOXBORO — The Foxboro High School boys’ soccer team continued its undefeated start to the season Tuesday night, defeating North Attleboro 2-0 in a matchup between the Warriors and Rocketeers.
Foxboro found the back of the net twice, with Adam Bougessa and Tommy Brown each scoring to help lead the Warriors to the shutout victory. The win moved Foxboro to 2-0 on the young season.
The victory was also a milestone for goalkeeper Joe Ruter, who recorded his first clean sheet of the season as the Foxboro defense kept North Attleboro off the scoreboard.
The Warriors now turn their attention to another Hockomock League matchup. Foxboro will travel to Franklin on Thursday for a 6 p.m. game. After opening the season with wins over Attleboro and North Attleboro, Foxboro will look to maintain its unbeaten start when it takes the field against Franklin.
