MEDWAY – The Town of Medway is warning residents and businesses about a new email scam involving someone pretending to represent the town and requesting payment.
Officials say the fraudulent messages are designed to look official, but the Town of Medway does not use email to collect payments.
Residents and businesses are urged not to respond, click links, or provide any information if they receive a suspicious message claiming to be from the town. Anyone with questions should contact the Town Manager’s Office or Medway Police.
