WESTBOROUGH — Families looking to spend time outdoors and learn the basics of fishing are invited to take part in a free Grandparents’ Day Family Fishing Clinic hosted by MassWildlife.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 13th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Chauncy in Westborough. The clinic is designed for families of all experience levels, giving participants the opportunity to learn fishing fundamentals while enjoying a day outside together.
Attendees will learn skills including how to cast, bait a hook, and get started with fishing. Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment or borrow gear provided by MassWildlife. All necessary fishing equipment and bait will be available for those who need it.
The family-friendly event is open to the public, but registration is required. Families can register through MassWildlife’s fishing clinic registration page or by calling 508-389-6300.
