Born in Worcester, Peter was the son of the late S. Parker and Louise (Winch) Tyler. He was raised and educated in Westborough and was a graduate of Westborough High School, Class of 1967. He also attended American International College.
Peter worked as a delivery driver for Maines Paper & Food Service and later as a driver for Enterprise Rent-A-Car before retiring. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time on the golf course and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his brother, Craig Tyler and his wife, Anne, of Woodstock, Connecticut; his nephew, Stephen Tyler and his wife, Alicia Voukides, and their son, Nathaniel; and his niece, Laura Sorel and her husband, Justin, and their son, Colton.
Services and interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Westborough will be private.
Donations in Peter’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
