1935 - 2026
Born in Boston, Patricia was raised by her foster mother, Hattie Preble, in Newton, where she graduated from Newton North High School in 1953. In 1955, she married the love of her life, James Muldoon. Together, they built a loving family, raising their four children first in Southborough, then Westborough, with one memorable year spent in Indiana, before eventually retiring to Cape Cod. There, Patricia opened an antique and collectibles shop, combining her love of history, treasures and craftsmanship.
Patricia began her career as a telephone switchboard operator before working for many years as a clerk at Framingham Union Hospital. After moving to Cape Cod, she continued her work in local hospitals.
A woman of deep faith, Patricia was a longtime member of The Congregational Church of Westborough. She enjoyed antiquing, crafting and, most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. Her warmth, creativity and devotion to those she loved were hallmarks of her life.
Patricia is survived by her four children: Steven Muldoon of Lancaster; Dana Muldoon of Belmont; Lisa Muldoon of East Brookfield; and Jennifer Muldoon and her husband, Michael DeBonis, of Moretown, Vermont. She also leaves four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held Saturday, October 17th, at 11:00 AM at The Congregational Church of Westborough, located at 57 West Main Street, Westborough.
Burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery will be private.
