GRAFTON — Families will have a chance to learn the basics of fishing during a free clinic hosted by the MassWildlife Angler Education Program later this month at Silver Lake Beach.
The Family Fishing Clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. and is open to anyone interested in learning more about the sport.
Participants will be introduced to fundamental fishing skills, including casting, baiting and other basic techniques designed to help beginners get started.
The clinic is free to attend, but registration is required.
Registration has recently opened and will remain available through Monday, Sept. 7.
The event will take place at Silver Lake Beach in Grafton, giving families an opportunity to learn new outdoor recreation skills together in a hands-on setting.
Those interested in participating are encouraged to register before the Sept. 7 deadline.
