MILFORD – The Milford Retirement Board is accepting applications for someone to serve as its Fifth Member.
Members of the Retirement Board serve as fiduciaries responsible for overseeing the retirement system’s millions of dollars in pension assets. Because of that responsibility, the Fifth Member cannot be an employee, retiree, or elected or appointed official of the Milford Retirement System.
The position requires participation in regularly scheduled monthly Retirement Board meetings, along with special or emergency meetings when necessary. The person selected will also be required to complete training associated with serving on the board.
Interested candidates can apply through the Milford Human Resources Department by Friday, September 4th.
