Harold Lynch, 87, of Medway
1939 - 2026

Born in Cambridge on February 24th, 1939, Harry was the son of the late John and Barbara (Tucker) Lynch. He was raised in Medway and graduated from Medway High School.

Harry was a longtime local businessman, owning and operating Harry’s Heating and Plumbing Company as well as HR Oil Company in Medway. His commitment to his community also extended to the Medway Fire Department, where he served for many years and retired as Assistant Chief.

Harry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the late 1950s, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal.

In his spare time, Harry enjoyed fishing and hunting. Above all, he treasured his family and the life he built in the Medway community.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, Harry is survived by his sons, Harold Lynch Jr. of Bridgton, Maine, and Joseph Lynch of Medway; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremiah, Daniel, David Lynch and Nathan. He was predeceased by his sisters, Margaret Joanis and Barbara Koch.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, located at 3 Barber Street in Medway.

Harry’s funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 1st at 11:00 AM, located at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry’s memory to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, located at 75 Francis Street in Boston.
