BELLINGHAM – Authorities are awaiting updates on the condition of a man who was thrown nearly 20 feet from a landscaping trailer during a crash Saturday morning.
Bellingham Police say a truck traveling onto Farm Street around 9 AM Saturday collided with a parked landscaping truck and trailer. A man was standing on the trailer at the time of the collision and was thrown from it.
The man was flown by medical helicopter to a trauma center for treatment. The driver of the other truck was also transported by ambulance to a hospital.
Police say the crash was witnessed and that speed does not appear to have been a factor. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
