MILFORD – With the start of a new school year approaching, Milford officials are encouraging teens and parents to brush up on e-bike and scooter safety.
The Milford Community School Use Program has partnered with the Teen Rider Academy to offer an online safety course designed specifically for teenage riders and their families. The initiative comes in response to what police have described as an alarming increase in crashes involving e-bikes and scooters.
The course covers topics including traffic laws, safe riding practices, and legal requirements for operating e-bikes and scooters. A link to register for the online course is available on the Milford Police Department’s social media pages.
