HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton Police Department’s K-9 Unit recently assisted another community by helping safely locate a missing man experiencing a mental health crisis.
Police say Officer Walker and K-9 Kobe were called to Spencer on Saturday after a man reportedly attempted to harm himself before running into a wooded area.
K-9 Kobe successfully tracked the man’s scent through the woods, eventually leading officers beneath a bridge where he was found. Officers were able to safely bring him out and ensure he received the medical and mental health assistance he needed.
