UXBRIDGE — The Rotary Club of Blackstone Valley will bring golfers together for a day of competition and community support during its fifth annual Golfing for Good Tournament on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Blissful Meadows Golf Club in Uxbridge.
The tournament will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and the opening tee time set for 9 a.m. Blissful Meadows Golf Club is located at 801 Chocolog Road.
Proceeds from the tournament will support several Rotary initiatives across the Blackstone Valley, including assistance for local food pantries, shelters, youth leadership programs, environmental efforts and community connections.
Registration costs $150 per golfer or $600 per foursome. The entry fee includes 18 holes on the championship course, a continental breakfast, boxed lunch, dinner, prizes and raffles. Dinner-only tickets are also available for $40.
Golfers will also have a chance to win a vehicle through a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Harbro Auto Sales and Service. Tournament requirements and additional details will be announced during the event.
UniBank is serving as the tournament’s platinum sponsor.
The annual tournament gives golfers an opportunity to enjoy a full day at Blissful Meadows while helping the Rotary Club fund programs and organizations serving communities throughout the Blackstone Valley.
