1944 - 2026
Raised in Dorchester, Victor later lived in Milton and Natick before making Holliston his home for the past 32 years. He attended the New England School of Mechanical Dentistry and built a distinguished career as a dental technician. A true craftsman, he specialized in creating dental implants, crowns, and bridges and owned Buckler Dental Laboratory for 50 years.
Victor enjoyed an active and fulfilling life. He was a familiar face at the Holliston Senior Center, loved taking long walks, and in his younger years enjoyed rollerblading. He found happiness on the water while boating and fishing, and his lifelong passion for music led him to play the drums—a love he proudly passed on to his son, Alex. A devoted fan of the Boston Celtics, Victor also treasured his annual trips to Aruba, where he vacationed for more than 25 years.
Above all, Victor cherished his family. He especially loved spending time with his son and grandson, Atlas, and looked forward with great excitement to welcoming his granddaughter, Scarlett Quinn Buckler, who is due to be born in September. His kindness, generosity, and love of family will be remembered by all who knew him.
Victor is survived by his son, Alex J. Buckler and his wife, Juliana, of Holliston; his sister, Elaine Girard and her husband, Pierre, of Switzerland; his beloved grandson, Atlas Fiore Buckler; his expected granddaughter, Scarlett Quinn Buckler; his former wife, Andrea (LoRusso) Buckler of Hanson; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington Street, Holliston.
Words of remembrance will be shared at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holliston Senior Center, (150 Goulding Street in Holliston), or to the American Cancer Society through American Cancer Society Donations.
