Born on November 9th, 1936, in Boston, Rocco was the son of the late Vincent and Rosaria (Carbone) Galimi. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Era, earning the Good Conduct Medal in recognition of his honorable military service.
Following his service, Rocco enjoyed a long and successful career in sales, retiring from Hudson Appliance in 2018 at the age of 82. Beyond his professional life, he devoted countless hours to his community as a youth football, basketball, and baseball coach before later serving as a basketball referee and baseball umpire. Known for his fairness, integrity, and passion for sports, he earned the respect of players, coaches, and fellow officials alike.
