1935 - 2026
Born on Nov. 2, 1935, in Milford, Tom was the son of the late Salvatore and Katherine (Sarah) Manguso. He attended the former Sacred Heart Elementary School before beginning a lifetime of hard work alongside his family. Tom worked with his father, Salvatore "Tory" Manguso, and his brother, Robert, at the family's Flying A service station on Main Street in Milford. He also assisted his uncle, Peter "Pete" Manguso, with his grain delivery business, serving the Milford community.
Tom had a deep appreciation for his hometown and enjoyed spending time with his family and neighbors. He took great interest in the Milford community and was a devoted daily listener of MyFM 101.3, keeping connected with local news and events throughout the years.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Joseph Sweet of Hopedale, and his nephews, Joseph C. Sweet and Steven J. Sweet.
Tom was predeceased by his sister, Marcia Sweet, and his brother, Robert Manguso.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 31st from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home (42 Congress Street in Milford).
A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Street (Route 109).
