HOPEDALE – A former Hopedale nurse accused of sexually assaulting teenage boys while working at Boston Children’s Hospital has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges.

John Tam was arraigned Monday after being indicted by a grand jury earlier this month on allegations involving incidents that prosecutors say occurred in 2022 and 2025.

According to the Milford Daily News, Tam’s attorney told the court that one of the charges had previously gone to trial in Roxbury District Court, where the case ended in a mistrial. Following Monday’s arraignment, a judge ordered Tam released without bail but imposed conditions on his release as the case moves forward.
