Born in Milford, Mona was the daughter of the late Donald E. Fisher and Cecelia (Samiagio) Fisher. She was educated in the local public schools and devoted her life to caring for her family as a homemaker and mother.
Mona enjoyed spending her free time completing jigsaw puzzles, working on crossword puzzles, and playing card games. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and treasured the time she spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Senior Master Sgt. Christopher L. Fisher and his wife, LeighAnn, of Montana; her grandchildren, Cameron Fisher and Alexys Fisher; her siblings, Dawn Stevens of Mendon, Nick Fisher and his wife Josey of Worcester, Jerry Fisher and his wife Lois of Douglas, Margaret Washer of Bellingham, Theresa Ramsey of Milford, and Cecelia Mittenberg of Charlton; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mona was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Fisher of Milford, who passed away in 2024.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24th, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, located at 44 Congress Street in Milford.
Burial will follow at Vernon Grove Cemetery.
