HOPKINTON – Greyhound Friends is inviting children and families to learn more about dog rescue and adoption later this month.
The educational program will be held Saturday, July 25th, from 10 AM to noon at the organization’s adoption shelter on Saddle Hill Road.
Designed for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, the event will introduce participants to the daily operations of an animal shelter, volunteer opportunities, and the unique characteristics of sighthound breeds, including greyhounds, whippets, and wolfhounds.
Admission is $5 per person, while children ages five and under may attend free of charge.
