District 4 American Legion Baseball Playoffs Begin Tonight with Wild Card Round

DISTRICT 4 — The road to the Massachusetts American Legion Baseball District 4 championship begins tonight as the postseason gets underway with a pair of wild card matchups, while one quarterfinal game has also been moved up due to scheduling.

The first wild card game features No. 8 Hudson Post 100 hosting No. 9 Framingham Post 117 at 7:00 p.m. at Guidotti Field in Hudson. The winner will advance to face top-seeded Leominster Post 151, which captured the District 4 regular season championship.

The second wild card matchup will see No. 7 Cherry Valley Post 443 take on No. 10 Main South Post 341 at 8:00 p.m. at Rochdale Park. The winner will move on to face No. 2 Milford Post 59 in the quarterfinal round.

Also on tonight’s schedule is a District 4 quarterfinal between No. 4 Shrewsbury Post 397 and No. 5 Northbridge Post 343, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Fitton Field in Worcester. While the rest of the quarterfinals will be played after the wild card round, this matchup has been moved up due to scheduling conflicts with the availability of the ballpark. The winner will advance to the District 4 semifinals.

With every game now a win-or-go-home battle, the chase for the 2026 District 4 championship officially begins tonight across Central Massachusetts.
