MILFORD — Milford Post 59 turned in another complete performance Saturday night, riding a complete-game shutout from Nick Pedrolli and a balanced offensive attack to a 10-0 victory over Framingham Post 117 at Fino Field.
Pedrolli was outstanding on both sides of the ball. The right-hander tossed all six innings, allowing six hits while striking out four and walking two to earn the shutout victory. At the plate, he went 2-for-5 with a double, triple, an RBI, and a run scored.
Milford wasted little time taking control, scoring three runs in the first inning before adding single runs in the third and fourth. Post 59 broke the game open with two runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth to cap off the convincing win.
The offense featured contributions throughout the lineup. Brady Iarussi led the way with a 3-for-4 performance that included a triple, an RBI, and a run scored. Ben Maiorano finished 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored, while Jackson Fournier also collected two hits, drove in two runs, and added a double.
Gavin Metcalf continued his strong return to the lineup, going 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Josh Bouchard added a 2-for-2 outing with two RBIs and two runs scored, while Brady Wajda chipped in a double and crossed the plate twice.
Milford finished with 14 hits, eight walks, and 10 runs while playing a clean game defensively without committing an error.
The victory keeps Post 59 rolling as the team heads into its regular-season finale Monday night against Main South Post 341 before turning its attention to the postseason.
