Come meet the dogs at the Greyhound Friends shelter in Hopkinton, MA, learn about shelter work and volunteering, and receive an introduction to sighthound breeds as beloved family pets. The shelter’s Educational Outreach team reguarly presents at K-12 schools and after-school programs during the academic year. This special offering brings an educational enrichment opportunity during the summer break. The material is designed for kids of all ages.
The event runs from 10 am to 12 noon and includes a talk, a shelter tour, Q&A and time with some of the kennel residents. Part of the program is held outdoors, weather permitting.
