Born on June 16, 1983, in Worcester, Cassie-Leigh was known for her spirited personality and the energy, warmth, and joy she brought to those around her.
She embraced life with a vibrant heart and had a deep love for dancing and music, which were constant sources of happiness and self-expression. During her younger years, she especially treasured time spent on Cape Cod, where Scusset Beach became one of her favorite places. Collecting seashells there created memories she carried with her throughout her life.
Cassie-Leigh is survived by her children, Anthony Kelley of Uxbridge, Alexia Kelley of Mendon, Giavanna Zannino of Franklin, and Robert Zannino of Franklin. She also leaves behind her mother, Nancy Russo and her husband Adrian of Milford. She was predeceased by her father, Robie Robinson.
She is also survived by her siblings, Andrea Alix of Tampa, Florida, Nicholas Russo of Astoria, New York, Joseph Russo of Tewksbury, and Victoria Russo of Pomfret, Connecticut; her step-sisters, Sarah Hickory, Jen Hickory, and Jill Hickory; and her granddaughters, Caterina Gilmore, Madison Gilmore, Mia Gilmore, and Alaya Pickering. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Patrick Gilmore.
Cassie-Leigh also shared a special bond with her beloved comfort dog, Cameron, who brought her companionship and unconditional love.
She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of music and dancing, and the joy she found in life's simple moments.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, located at 42 Congress Street in Milford.
Burial will be private.
