MILFORD – Rentschler Biopharma has selected a new chief executive officer for its headquarters in Laupheim, Germany.
The German-based biopharmaceutical company announced that Torsten Woehr will become CEO beginning August 1st, succeeding interim CEO Uwe Buecheler, who will return to his role as vice chairman of the company’s supervisory board.
The company has been searching for a permanent leader since its previous CEO departed in January. Woehr most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer for Swiss biotechnology company Bachem Holding AG, and will now lead Rentschler Biopharma’s global operations from its headquarters in Laupheim, and its site in Milford.
