Angela E. Fleming, 77, of Mendon
1948 - 2026

Born in Old Harlow, Essex, England, Angela was the daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara (Griggs) Lawrence. At the age of nine, she immigrated to the United States with her family, eventually settling in Pennsylvania before relocating to Sudbury, Massachusetts, at age fourteen. It was there that she completed her education, married Bill, and together they built a life and family. In 1989, they made Mendon their home, where they lived for nearly four decades.

Before retiring, Angela held administrative positions with the City of Marlborough and later the Town of Mendon, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.

Angela enjoyed life's simple pleasures, including playing cards, bowling, and camping at Cold Springs Camp in Barre. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs.

In addition to her husband, Bill, Angela is survived by her two sons, Chris Fleming and his wife Leanne of Uxbridge, and Scott Fleming of Hopkinton; her cherished grandchildren, Alison, Logan, and Peyton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Lawrence.

A graveside service celebrating Angela's life will be held on Saturday, August 1st at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Cemetery, located at 88 Granite Street in Uxbridge.

A collation luncheon will be announced following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter, located at 14 Chestnut Street in Blackstone.
