Reading Of The Declaration Of Independence

The first reading of the Declaration of Independence took place on July 8th at 6 PM 1776. To commemorate the event MA250 is calling on towns and cities across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to hold a reading as a synchronized event. Milford will hold the reading at Draper Park on July 8th at 6PM. Portions of the Declaration will be read by State Representative Brian Murray, High School Student Sam DiGiando, Milford Historical Commission Secretary Anne Lamontage and others. All are welcome to come and help honor the very beginning of our country.
