MILFORD – A candy manufacturer is preparing to relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations from Southbridge to Milford following approval of state economic development incentives.
The Massachusetts Economic Assistance Coordinating Council this week approved $1.8 million in incentives for Sky Nutro as part of a larger statewide economic development package.
The company plans to invest approximately $12 million to establish a new headquarters and manufacturing facility on Industrial Road in Milford. Officials say the project is expected to create 120 new jobs.
Sky Nutro manufactures gummy candies and fruit snacks and will lease an existing building for its new operations.
