UXBRIDGE – Uxbridge residents will have an opportunity next week to learn more about plans to replace the Homeward Avenue bridge over the Providence & Worcester Railroad.
A virtual public information meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, at 6:30 p.m. Information on how to join the presentation is available on the town’s website.
Officials say the existing bridge has deteriorated and needs replacement. Current plans call for a wider structure featuring sidewalks on both sides and accommodations for bicyclists to improve safety and accessibility.
Following the presentation, residents will have the opportunity to submit written comments on the project.
