MEDWAY – The Medway Village Food Pantry is celebrating the success of a community-driven fundraiser that brought neighbors together for a great cause.
Organized and hosted by Moira Sharkey and Brian Sharkey, this year’s 3-on-3 basketball tournament raised more than $4,200 in support of the pantry’s Falmouth Road Race fundraising team and its ongoing mission to serve local families in need.
Pantry officials expressed their gratitude to the Sharkeys, along with the event’s sponsors, attendees, and donors, whose generosity helped make the fundraiser a success.
Organizers noted that events like the tournament require significant time, energy, and dedication, but the result was a powerful demonstration of community spirit and support.
The funds raised will help the Medway Village Food Pantry continue providing food and assistance to individuals and families throughout the community, furthering its mission of helping neighbors in need.
