Born in Marlborough, Richard was the son of the late Claude Langlois and Rita (McLean) Langlois. He graduated from Framingham Vocational High School, now known as Keefe Regional Technical School, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Northeastern University.

Richard built a successful career in the technology and business sectors. He began working at Computer Control Division, which was later acquired by Honeywell. He went on to work for Digital Equipment Corporation and several startup companies before concluding his career with Global Ware Solutions in Haverhill.

He took tremendous pride in helping his sons grow into successful adults and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His home, family, and friends were always his highest priorities. He also had a lifelong love for Cape Cod, spending countless memorable days there from his teenage years until his health no longer allowed him to visit.

In addition to his wife Cheryl, Richard is survived by his two sons, Matthew Langlois and his wife Kristen of Marlborough, and Stephen Langlois and his wife Gayla of Hopkinton. He was the proud grandfather of Nicholas, Reese, Theo, and Tess.

He is also survived by his brothers, Thomas Langlois and his wife Susan of The Villages, Florida, and Peter Langlois and his wife Donna of Carefree, Arizona; his sister, Claudia Langlois and her partner Mark Rachwal of Uxbridge; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford, on a date and time to be announced.
